Growth & Development Services, Inc. (GDS) accepts
referrals from both professionals and parents.
Teens who are referred to GDS must:
- Be at least 12 years of age and no older than 18.
- Live in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.
- Have a parent/caretaker/professional who is willing to ensure
that an application is completed in a timely manner, including
teen, caretaker, professional and medical parts of the application.
- Must be physically able to participate in activities.
- Not be classified as mentally retarded or developmentally disabled.
- If accepted, participate fully in both Camp Excel and the year-round
Excel Progam.
