Growth & Development Services, Inc. (GDS) accepts referrals from both professionals and parents.

Teens who are referred to GDS must:

• Be at least 12 years of age and no older than 18.
• Live in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.
• Have a parent/caretaker/professional who is willing to ensure that an application is completed in a timely manner, including teen, caretaker, professional and medical parts of the application.
• Must be physically able to participate in activities.
• Not be classified as mentally retarded or developmentally disabled.
• If accepted, participate fully in both Camp Excel and the year-round Excel Progam.
